The Hidden Culprit Behind the Silent Killer – High Blood Pressure/Hypertension - Choose Your Body Weight!

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

You may have heard high blood Pressure/Hypertension being referred to as the Silent killer.

Why that tag?

Hypertension got it’s name as a silent Killer because often the are no specific symptoms that cry out as Hypertension (until complications arise/develop).

The symptoms of complications depend on the organs involved.

Millions have Hypertension, or elevated Blood Pressure and don’t know it, since they need to be tested ( a simple 10 second test)

Most people with high blood pressure are overweight.

Losing/Dropping ‘Weigh’ lowers blood pressure significantly in those who are both overweight and those ‘hypertensive’, with High/Elevated Blood Pressure.

In fact, reducing body weight by as little as ten pounds can lead to a significant reduction in blood pressure.

Discover what works for you to improve your chances of losing weight and keeping it off.

According to research or other evidence, the following self-care steps may be helpful:

For long-term success, choose a healthy diet that you can stay with.

Boost Your Immune System with the Positive Attitude of Gratitude - Beware Your Body Believes What You Think!!

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Yes for many years if not for many decades we have heard about how your mind affects your body, your thoughts affect your body, your Body believes what you think, and really your thoughts affect everything.

We innately know this Truth, this law of Attraction, this basic currency of the way things work in our world.

You would think we would hold this information, this Key to unlocking the mysteries of Manifesting near and dear to our hearts, and live from it like crusaders or evangelists.

But the puzzling truth is we forget, we get distracted in this dizzying, fast spinning world.

We forget that we can have our dreams, shoot for the moon and in short be enlightened wizards of the world, making magic and spinning webs of light and joy into the world…

You may wonder what this has to do with Hypertension/High Blood Pressure?

Well, only Everything…

When we are not living the life we L O V E, Life doesn’t love us back, as way of saying, Dead end Road, Proceed no Further, Change Course, Switch Gears, Change Tracks,  Back Up, Slow Down, find Another Way, Correct and Continue, ok, you get the Idea…

Actually to be fair to Life…

Life always has it’s arms open, Heart flowing, always and forever ‘Open Door Policy’, but our confused minds, and lost Hearts keep taking us to ‘Closed Doors’, ‘Do not enter Zones’, ‘ Knock yourself out Area’,  ‘Closed Vault’,  ‘Closed’ Signs, ‘Someday Maybe’, ‘Can’t be Done’ Doom, ‘Too Hard to do’ Destinations…

Instead of  where we want to be, in the flow of life, in the river of Plenty..

So Focus on the positive, Keep your eye on the Prize and…

Don’t Look back,  ‘It’s NOT where You are Goin’…..

Research Shows a healthy & positive attitude helps build a healthier immune system, even Boost ‘Overall’ Health.

A healthier Immune System, means lower risk for Hypertension & High Blood Pressure.

So think and stay ‘Positive’,  Follow your Bliss as they say,  and ..
Focus on Gratitude, it will open your Heart, and attract More Good to You.

My Best to you,
Journey Well,

Exercise, the High Pillar for Treatment & Avoidance of Hypertension/High Blood Pressure & Many more Ailments…

Is exercise a good word you Love, something you Hate, or something you just Do.

Well if you do Exercise, whether you love it or Hate it, it is a credit to you that Do Exercise. Because Exercise is the one pivotal element that can turn around your health with so many ailments,  from Hypertension,  to Diabetes to Obesity & Weight loss.

Exercise can be a challenge for many, from finding the time to do it, the energy, the space, the strength, and the consistency factor, doing an Exercise regimen say at least 3 to 5 times a week is no cup cake.

However, whether you like exercise or not, exercise doesn’t have to be painful or a pain.

It may seem ‘inconvenient’ at first as anything new in one’s life, not only exercise, is a challenge in some way or other.

And in the case of exercise, as with other decisions to alter a condition or situations in one’s life,a definite strong commitment is required.

Before any of us makes a commitment for anything, there usually is a process that gets us there.

Conviction comes before Commitment.

And Conviction is preceded by experience, and evidence that points to the particular Conviction being the right and perfect choice, and that brings us to a Conviction.

The stronger the experience and evidence ( ie.as evidence that exercise is a healthy choice, exercise being a good thing that your body needs etc.), the stronger the Conviction to do exercise, or any other Practice.

Motivation or the Reward play a big role in setting your conviction.

We are all fueled by The Motivation or the Reward to do what we do.

The Motivation can be: If you exercise 3- 5 times a week regularly, you will be in better overall health, have less stress( studies show that people who exercise regularly,  do tend to have less stress, or able to relieve some of their stress via exercising, and are able to manage the Stress they do have easier than people who do no exercise.

I say all this  for my ears especially, for I find that often exercise is far from if not the last thing I want to do.

All the more we must all try to have balance in our lives.

Exercise, captures & brings that balance back to our bodies, minds and spirit.

Chances are that if you already do some exercise, you know the joys of pushing yourself past that possible resistance, to the other side of Exploding your energy vs. Imploding your energy on a regular basis.

It’s good to be alive, and to even have the ability to exercise, so while you can, do what you can and gradually stretch your limits, you’ll be glad you did.

To our best Health & Wellbeing,
